What's the Process?

Step 1. Book your website

You can book your website over the telephone, via email or post. If you agree that we are the ones for you, we will produce a statement of requirements for your website.  This document will itemise the functionality of your website.

Once this document is approved by both parties, it will form part of the contract.  At this point, a deposit of 30% is required to commence work.  Should you decide to withdraw at this point, a payment of £100 is required for producing the statement of requirements.  This fee is waived if you decide to continue.

Step 2. Approve your design

Once you have paid the deposit, we will commence work on your designs.

You will be able to include any images or graphics you would like to appear on your new site. The more information, the better. Graphics and images can be supplied in digital format (on CD .jpg .gif .psd .png preferred) via email or post.  Of course, our designers can produce these images for you. 

Step 3. Choose your domain name

Decide what you would like your domain name to be (i.e. www.yourcompany.co.uk) We will then purchase your hosting.

Step 4. Settle the balance

Your new website will be uploaded to our server for you to view. You will then need to settle your balance for set-up and design when you view your new website (please note: included in the cost for set-up and design entitles you to reasonable changes to your website after your prototype is presented, any further changes to your original specifications may incur a small charge, this does not include grammatical or technical errors as changes to these are free).  You will then receive the Copyright to your new website. Please note; payment of balance is required within 12 weeks of placing booking if there is any delay on your part. 

Your website will now be ready for the world to see. It will then be submitted to all the major search engines (i.e. Google, Yahoo, MSN etc). We can help with the setting up of your email accounts should you require assistance.

Step 5 Enjoy

Tell all your friends, and all of your customers old and new. You could also add your new website to all of your advertising, include it on your business cards and promote it anyway you wish.

You will now be able to access your email (i.e. sales@yourcompanyname.co.uk). You will then be sent user names and passwords to access your server, we ask that these are kept in a safe place, Fogarty I.T. Services cannot be held responsible for these.

Note: for larger website projects, the negotiated statement of requirements will be split into separate phases.  Each phase will be costed separately and will require payment before the next phase commences.  This is to  protect both our interests and help you with budgeting.  You will also have the peace of mind that you can cancel the project at the end of any phase.
